Tribunal Practice
Between 2008 and 2009 Dr Freckelton AO KC sat on the AFL’s Northern Football League Disciplinary Tribunal (see http://www.aflvic.com.au/index.php?id=47).
The League replaced the former Diamond Valley League in the Northern Suburbs of Melbourne (see http://www.sportingpulse.com/assoc_page.cgi?c=0-3913-0-0-0&sID=41958&articleID=3805694&news_task=DETAIL)
The Tribunal hears disciplinary complaints against players, both sernior and junior, in the League.
Dr Freckelton has a long-held interest in the regulation of sport.
