Examples of decisions for which (with the other members) he was responsible can be seen at: http://www.ahpra.gov.au/Notifications-and-Outcomes/Hearing-Decisions/Medical/Medical-Practitioners-Board-of-Victoria/Formal-Hearings.aspx

During his period on the Board, Dr Freckelton chaired the Lawyers Members of the Health Practitioners Boards. He also participated on the Complaints, Notifications, Performance, Communications and Legal Committees of the Board. He played a major role in drafting the Board’s Medico-Legal Guidelines.

Dr Freckelton has written extensively about regulation of health practitioners (see eg I Freckelton, Regulating Health Practitioners (Federation Press, 2006); I Freckelton, National Regulation of Health Practitioners (Federation Press, 2011, forthcoming).
